Whether it’s an interview, commercial, or documentary, there are some powerful and informative videos out there on marriage equality.
Currently only 13 states allow gay marriage (California, Connecticut, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC. Over 30% of the US population lives in a state that has marriage equality or honors out of state marriages, according to Freedom to Marry.
Zach Wahls made a very powerful statement about family in Iowa. He grew up with lesbian mothers and is very passionate about the cause. The video has gone viral and he has continued to be an advocate for marriage equality.
